Animal creation by Remco

This is my animal creation. We did this for topic.

Habitat: Open woodland; plains with small thickets, medium and long grass, steppe; sub-Saharan Africa, Iran, Turkey and Turkmenistan Coral Reef; Western Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea.The most widely dispersed Southern African weaver, the chasked hamlet nests in trees and bushes near available water. Found in sub-Saharan Africa including South Africa, Angola, Zaire, Zambia, and Tanzania.

Diet: omnivore: eats meat and only eats plants if necessary



Head: cheetah

Chasked hamlet are one of the few bird’s who can purr. They also make other unusual sounds such as chirping, yelping, and bleating. Females live with the babies Males live with them until the cubis two to five weeks.chasked hamlet are one of the few big cats who can purr. They also make other unusual sounds such as chirping, yelping, and bleating. Females live alone except when they are raising cubs. Males live in coalitions of two to five members.


Body: Masked weaver
Chasked hamlet are named for their elaborately woven nests built of papyrus, grass, and twigs.They are round structures built hanging from a branch, with the entrance near the bottom. They look like funny fruit hanging from a tree! The male builds a nest for a female. If the female does not like the nest, he will tear it down and start over. If she does like the nest, she will line it with grass and feathers, and start raising a family. The male will then try to build a nest for another female.


Legs: masked weaver
They average 14 cm (5.5 in) in length.


Tail: golden hamlet


They normally but can out of the water live in shallow reefs in water depths of 10 to 40 m (33 to 131 ft). They are predatory fish and they establish their territories on top of the reefs. Chasked hamlets are one of about 12 varieties of hamlets.


Sounds: like a high pitched squawk sound normally.


Lifespan: Unknown


Scientific name:Aloceus gummigutta


Predators and threats:

Eagles, hyenas, lions, leopards, baboons, and humans.Forest clearance and degradation.Reef sharks

  1. Remco I like how you have named your animal. I really like how you were writing about how the Chasked Hamlet is one of the few birds that can purr. Maybe you could make the post a little bit smaller? If so that would give you more space.
